Car Insurance
One of the most crucial and necessary aspects of buying and maintaining a car is that car insurance is kept fully up to date, and fits in line with your situation and what potential threats there may be to your safety. It is cheaper for a middle aged woman to get car insurance than a young man who has recently passed his test, even if they are driving exactly the same car, as statistically the woman would have less of a chance of being in an accident or the like than the man. As car insurance is based on the likelihood of this type of thing happening, you may find yourself paying more even if you never have an accident, simply because of the age group you are in, your gender, and how long you have been driving for.
How much you pay and how you pay your car insurance is also dependant on what country you come from and which country you are driving in, as different countries have different policies regarding car insurance. Most places relate car insurance to both the car and the driver, though the extent of this can differ wildly between countries, and even between constituencies in those countries.
There are also different levels of insurance you can pay, which relate to how much will be covered. Comprehensive insurance is the most expensive, but as its title suggests it covers most eventualities and circumstances, so you will rarely be in a situation which will not be covered.
